Sutherby Week! Tuesday . . .

It's three days until we get to see B-Suts in person for the first time since his trade to Anaheim. The clock is ticking folks, and I am all jittery with anticipation/too much cafeine.

Here's another video for you, folks.

In the video, our protagonist is interviewed by the one and only Craig "Locker" Laughlin.

Sutherby Week! Monday!

Here's a video for you all. Sutherby got in a little bit of an argument with referee Don Koharski. Listen to what Koharski calls Sutherby around the 57 second mark.

You can't be 100% positive, but it sounds a lot like a word that makes a lot of females quite upset.

He's Back!

Brian Sutherby has returned from his groin injury to the Anaheim lineup the last few games.

since returning from injury on January 2nd:

VS. Columbus: 5:35 icetime, a 2-1 victory for the Ducks.
VS. Chicago: 5:12 icetime, a 2-1 victory for the Ducks.
VS. Phoenix: 8:38 icetime and +1. A 3-2 shootout loss for the Ducks.

Here's hoping he keeps playing well, and can get a couple in the back of the net.

Sad, sad news.

Brian Sutherby has a strained groin. He's missed a couple of days already, and it is unsure when he'll return. I hope this is just a tweak and not his old injury flaring up.

And for the record, I will NOT rub it for him.

Video of the Week

Or should that be weekend? It doesn't really matter.

Here's a fight Brian was in earlier this week. Well, it's more of a grappling match than anything else, but enjoy.

Moving on up . . .

Brian's been in Anaheim for three games, two losses and a win, and he's seen his responsibilities increase each game he's been out there.

Brian's average time on ice per game so far,

Game 1: 5:14 of ice on the 4th line.
Game 2: 8:40 of ice on the 4th line.
Game 3: 12:31 of ice on the 2nd line.

A guy the Washington Capitals struggled to trade away is now playing on the second line in Anaheim alongside Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry. The real winner in that trade was obviously B-Suts.
